Nationwide Laminating & Finishing: Helpful Tips

Make Point-of Purchase Displays "POP"

In retail environments, they're everywhere, grabbing the attention of your target market and getting your message noticed. Point-of-purchase (POP) displays take many forms, and many tough retail environments benefit from the durability of film laminating POP displays.

Choose your protection - Retail environments can be unpredictable. Shoppers have bags that crash into products or displays and children with curious hands. Protecting your displays with film laminate can mean the difference between an advertisement that lasts the entire season and an early reprint.

A variety of films and thicknesses are available to suit your project needs. For instance, we recommend 10 mil lamination film and encapsulated laminating, for restaurants and kid-friendly retail stores, where grease and liquids are present and can harm your display. Likewise, gloss laminates are preferable for image-heavy designs because the film brings out the color of the ad. Matte films, on the other hand, have a more subdued appearance that is ideal for text-heavy pieces loaded with product or sale information.

Mount up - After lamination, a chipboard mount is tipped to the back of your display to allow your POP display to stand upright. Likewise, you can add a "take one" box to the front of the display for holding brochures. A simple and adaptable display, these pieces require two-sided laminating to ensure they have sufficient rigidity.
